Social Worker (LBSW or LMSW) - Sr. Care Social Services

Wiregrass Medical Center is seeking a full-time Social Worker (LBSW or LMSW) to join our team on-site in Geneva, AL. The Social Worker will work within the Senior Care Unit and collaborate with a diverse team, including the Unit Director, physicians, and clinical staff. All Social Workers function under the direction of the Director of Social Services.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health needs
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings
- Provide counseling and therapy to individuals, families, and groups
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records
- Stay informed about current research and best practices in the field of social work

Qualifications:
-Minimum of Bachelor's degree in the Social Work discipline
-Active LBSW or LMSW license through the Alabama State Board of Social Work Examiners; or ability to obtain
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent attention to detail
-Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
-Experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting is highly preferred
